Wendy Graham (PHR, SHRM-CP, tma), founder of Octopus 8 Consulting, is a dynamic Learning and Development professional and a marketing communications expert. Her superpower is clear written and verbal communication. She helps organizations of all sizes   soar to new heights when they improve, implement and manage talent processes, from acquisition, onboarding, and workforce learning to talent development, optimization, and change management. She uses her international relations background and experience living abroad and traveling to bring a global perspective to her work, and to quickly connect with and influence others across multiple time zones.

Over her rich 20-plus-year corporate career, she has positively contributed to the success of small and medium tech startups including Mercury Payment Systems, Vantiv, Worldpay, Local News Network, NewGen Solutions, mParticle, and System1 as well as large international Fortune 500 corporations, such as AIG and FIS Global.

She is a credentialed human resource professional since 2013 through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) – SHRM-CP and Human Capital Institute (HCI) – PHR.  She is certified in Price Pritchett’s Change Essentials, Predictive Index (PI), and the TMA Method. Wendy holds a Bachelors of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Mandarin Chinese from The College of Wooster, Ohio and took classes at the NYU School of Continuing Studies.

Outside the corporate world, Wendy is also an internationally-renowned community dance leader and social dance teacher. She loves sharing her joy of music, song and dance with people of all ages and abilities. She is most proud of being resilient in the face of devastating difficulties.
